Aquarium fish food usually comes in various forms from live food, to frozen and flakes and pellets. All have there advantages, depending on your budget and the fish you have.
Flakes can be added anything between one to four times a day, but a good point to remember, is only put enough in the tank, that the fish can consume within two minutes. As you get to know your fish you will be able to regulate this effectively. However remember you are in charge. If you feed your fish they will eat. This does not mean they are hungry.
